Conways!!!!!

Happy new year!

Pre - Christmas, Post - Christmas and New Year sales kept me really busy so I've been out of touch for a while (I did enjoy my family and friends as well.)  There have really been some great online sales after the holidays (and you're probably wondering why I didn't mention that sooner?  I'll get better about that, I promise.)  Specifically, Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch - if you shop for teens or young adults you have to sign up their emails.  One online deal I took advantage of was 30% off of clearance and $5 shipping.  Woohoo!!  This time last year is when I did a huge chunk of my son's shopping.  Always nice to put things away in January and be pleasantly surprised by your haul when you're ready to wrap in December!!!!

One more tip before I get to the main feature- believe it or not some stores still have Christmas items and guess what...they're marked way way down!!  Bought a stocking holder at Hobby Lobby tonight for $1.19- 90% off!!!

Moving on-
Conways - my NYC obsession!  I discovered Conways probably 15 or 16 years ago although locals and tourists alike had known about it for many many years.  How do you describe such a wonderful place?  Multiple Manhattan locations, the one I frequent most often is directly across the street from Macy's.  It's a department store jam packed with trendy cheap fashions for women, men and kids.  Some locations have shoes, toiletries and home wares.  When I say cheap I mean $3 tanks and tees, $6 cropped cardigans and leggings, $12 dresses.

Too good to be true you say?  Well, there is a downside.  The quality of the clothes is not the greatest but since many of the items are "trendy" isn't it OK if you only get a couple of seasons out of them?  And tees and tanks can only get so much wear before you're ready to replace them.  Right?  Another downside, the store is packed tight with merchandise and usually packed tight with New Yorkers, and sometimes it smells a little.  These are all things I'm willing to overlook for some serious bargains.
The great news--  there is a Conways in Catonsville!!
- Westview Mall 5840 Baltimore National Pike (Highway 40)
Catonsville, MD 21228
443.341.8341

I have too many Conways items to share.  Here are two of my favorites-
Yes, those are covered in sequins! $12.99

This cute top (that I wore at my 40th birthday party) was $5.99.
